who has split ends and an obsession with firmoo.com?

this girl.

a few weeks ago my favorite online eyewear company offered up a pair of these rad glasses for me to show off on this blog (and wear 24/7 because they are so cute and comfy).  there's an insane amount to love about firmoo, but one of my favorite things is how often i see them getting new styles.  currently i only have 3 pairs, but doesn't fall kind of feel like glasses season for some reason?  can we all pretend we're going back to grad school or something?  don't grad students wear glasses and cool sneakers?

either way my spectacle collection is fast becoming my favorite set of personal accessories.  i'm totally going to be upping my collection at some point this year with sweater weather somewhere ahead! (oh my goodness houston rules in that winter is a distant thought).  here's a few styles on firmoo right now that you might just see me wearing this autumn if i ultimately can't resist buying them (and let's get real, this is me we're talking about):

well i had planned on starting the week off with a recap of our lovely lovely weekend (we spent saturday night walking the beach at grand haven and sunday at the frederick meijer gardens and sculpture park in grand rapids).  unfortunately last night my laptop fell victim to the most grrrr-inducing computer virus ever and i couldn't get my photos uploaded to dropbox / i am still mad, pouting, and not interested in a computer-related battle at the moment.

so i'll have to satisfy you with a tiny instagram style preview of our weekend (unfortunately, since i had my camera, i wasn't so camera-phone snappy).  since i'm at work while i write this, and not busy troubleshooting my computer in safe mode, i'm hoping i still have a laptop when i return home.

in attempts to keep a positive spin on things:  today is steve's first day of big-kid-grown-up-job work!  i'll have to wait and hear from him how the new job is, but i am one pretty proud lady to have such a smart, handsome professional on my arm!

and as a super friendly public service announcement.  make sure to watch out for the FBI moneypak ransomware virus.  apparently i am far from the only victim of this garbage.

dear self:  why did you think going back to pc was a good idea?

(in all fairness if a mac got a virus like this i probably wouldn't have the option of troubleshooting my computer in safe mode, but lets not joke and pretend a mac would have gotten this stupid virus in the first place).
